Rental FAQ
Can we bring outside catering?

Yes. All subcontractors must be approved by MUSEws. Provide the name and contact information of any vendor on site for set-up and/or the event at least one week prior.

Can we use the entire museum?

At this time, rentals are limited to the Welcome Lobby and the Mosaic Room while we continue exhibit development.

Can we serve alcohol?

Yes. You must obtain and pay for all necessary permits and licenses for serving alcohol in connection with your use of the facility, and provide security at your expense.

Is the space available evenings and weekends?

Yes. There is a higher rate for after-hours events.

What is the setup / teardown window?

These windows are determined during the agreement process based on the type of activity.

Is confetti permitted?

No. The use of glitter, bubbles, or any type of confetti in or around the facility and Museum property is prohibited.

Are candles permitted?

No. MUSEws prohibits any open flame or anything likely to endanger any person on Museum property or to constitute a hazard to the Museum, its exhibits, and staff.
