MUSE Winston-Salem invites you to “America 250: Gather & Reflect,” an interactive evening in the museum’s new home at 226 S. Liberty Street. It's a last chance to see a special traveling exhibit, a first chance to see our new home at 226 South Liberty Street, and an opportunity to start talking about what the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence means to you!

“When Are We US? Becoming American," our traveling exhibit on loan from America 250 NC, leaves tomorrow! The exhibit helps North Carolinians engage with key questions that have reverberated through the American experiment for 250 years.

Tonight's special event—"America 250: Gather & Reflect" gives you a chance participate in a shared reflection and conversation as we enter this season of commemorating the 250th. Our program will begin at 6:30pm. For those wanting extra time, doors will open at 5:30pm to see the exhibit and a few other MUSEws favorites. We'll provide prompts for personal reflection. MUSEws staff will accent the exhibitions with additional local history and audience members will be invited to share questions and observations inspired by the exhibit. The evening will end with conversation and a final reflection.

And a special bonus! Tonight is one of the very first opportunities to step inside MUSE Winston-Salem’s newly renovated space and catch a glimpse of our community history museum in the making!

This event is FREE!
